Grosvenor Shopping Centre brings Summer of Sports fun for kids in Macclesfield
Summer has officially kicked off, and Grosvenor Shopping Centre is thrilled to announce a series of exciting sporting events and activities for kids throughout the summer holidays. In celebration of the major sporting events happening this year, including the Euros, Olympics, and Wimbledon, the shopping centre will become a hub of sporting-themed fun and activity.
Starting from the 2nd of August and continuing every Friday throughout the month, local families are invited to come along and join in a Summer of Sports. With each week featuring a different sporting activity, there will be endless opportunities for kids to get active, make memories, and have a blast with their friends and families.
The schedule of events includes:
- Football Shootout – 2nd August: Test your precision and accuracy as you become the star striker in our football shootout challenge. Parents and children alike will have a ball trying to outscore one another in this thrilling activity.
- Archery Adventure – 9th August: Channel your inner Robin Hood and take part in our Archery Adventure. Learn the art of archery as you aim for perfection in this unique and exciting experience.
- Ping Pong Tournament – 16th August: Grab a paddle and showcase your table tennis skills at our Ping Pong Tournament. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, this event promises fun for everyone.
- Basketball Showdown – 23rd August: Shoot some hoops and show off your skills at our exciting Basketball Showdown. With thrilling challenges and games, this event is bound to be a slam dunk!
Each event will run from 11 am to 2pm.
